Mekdad Sehili born in Tunis , April 4, 1957.
At the age of six, his father placed him in the Quranic school where he taught. At 12, he asked to be part of the music club of high school, and impressed his teachers with his talent as a singer, composer and lyricist. He then studied at the Faculty of Law and Economic Sciences of Tunis.
