Fawzi Chekili is a Tunisian jazz musician, born May 27, 1950 in Qlibiya, Tunisia.

From an early age, he excelled in playing the guitar, piano and lute. He is considered one of the best contemporary musicians. Fawzi Chekili was the only one in the Arab world, with Ziad Rahbani, who mixed jazz with Tunisian music and oriental music.
